Some early retail orders were not being serialized for build so the dealers changed them to stock, thinking they may get built faster. If you never gave a copy of your license to your dealer than it was ordered stock. Just a heads up for everyone.

As for the program, from what the form read, any retails that are approved in the Retail Order Verification Program in March are for May build. this means that VIN numbers for these cars can come up within a few weeks or so. I have my fingers crossed that the 6 I have get their VINs sometime in the next 2-3 weeks!!!
A build in May means delivery in June, Jeff?

Not necessarily. If its built in early May, and they are shipping on time, then later in May, is possible.

That link is still good but I've heard that it can take Ford a few days to actually get the VIN to a "searchable" status online. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Man that's cool, not too far before it hits your driveway.

It will stay that way until about a week before the car will be built.

Spoiler NOT deleted

Hey, the window sticker just showed via the link for my 11 premium GT, and I noticed the spoiler delete was not on it. If I ask my dealer to change it, I imagine this will delay things (?). I am not sure if it is worth it or not. It's Red Candy if anybody has opinions on this.

Most likely. From what I understand, once a VIN's been issued, the car cannot be changed. I tried to make a change to mine today and it couldn't be changed because it's scheduled for production next week. According to them, my only option would be to re-order a new car and go to the back of the line. Bittersweet...

Well, sounds like I will just have to learn to like it! A little disappointing, but certainly not worth going to the back of the line for.

Not a big fan of the stock rear spoiler myself, it is ok.
That is why I ordered a GT 500 spoiler and will be having that put on when I get the car.

copy this url into your browser (or just click it) and then just type in your vin after the "=" and hit Enter.

fyi I got exact production ratios from AAI on the tpoic of Mustang vs Mazda 6:

From: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
To: DAY, SHAUN A
Sent: Tue Apr 06 08:20:11 2010
Subject: Mustang

Flat Rock is working 79-80 hour weeks, with no Saturday or Sunday OT through the week of 5/24.

Build ratio for April is 80% Mustang (20% Mazda6), which is relatively high.
(Decreases to 78% Mustang in May and 77% Mustang in June, which is still high)

And this is the reason I have called Jeff several times to get my order just right. He's even been cool enough to send a DORA back to me each time, so I know the order will be going in correctly. I can't wait. Work has been rough, personal life has been rougher... I NEED something to look forward to.
