Hey Guys,

Big apology for teasing you guys like that. We had some unforseen circumstances yesterday come up that woulnd't allow us to provide the release.

Here is the announcement you have been wating for...
CAM Idle tunes will be available by Friday of this coming week.

Price for a cam idle tune will be 90.00 and will initially be only released for manual transmission vehicles.

Automatics should be supported sometime next month and will be the same pricing.

Once again thanks for the support and hope this news was worth waiting for. The tune sounds great!!

Thanks

TJ

We are working on getting the video available. It was shot from a low quality recording device. I don't want to say stay tuned since we already kept you waiting, but stay tuned.

Thanks

Good news for us auto owners. Is this going to be like the other cammed tunes where it's recommended to have an offroad exhaust?

Are these "Cam tunes" or "Ghost Cam tunes" just to "Sound" like you have cams or are they perf based!?

I believe it'a both.

My question is, is the tune programmed to just make the car have a bouncy idle to give that effect or is it done another way? I wouldn't want my car Rpm to be jumping all over at idle as if it had a vacuum leak lol

If it's like the others, I think they mess with the VVT to give it the effect.

They would not require off road exhaust. We are working on making ours work with stock exhaust, just like our manual tunes.

Thanks

Cam idle tunes basically change the overlap of the factory cams through the factory cam timing system to simulate the sound of an engine with very large camshafts. It’s the lopey, choppy idle sound many car enthusiasts love, but without the expense of actually changing the camshafts. It is all done through the tuning.

Thanks

Guys,

Gus has a video but it was taken from a cell phone and the sound is not as good as we would want it to be. If you do not mind a low quality video to just give you an idea of what they sound like let me know. Please do not judge the quality of the video to the quality of the tune.

Just acknowledge and I will get the video from him.

Thanks

TJ

So kinda like putting Cobra badges on a GT, to pose as something its not.
No thanks. Never understood the hype over these tunes.

There is no power difference between the cam idle tune and a standard performance tune. Only the cam sound at idle is the difference.
