Amber Gold Color
I'm not a fan...
Amen. My first car started out life a a Poly-Gold Glow Yellow 73 Mach-1 which was lipstick red by the time I bought it. And I thanked God for that color change every time I looked at the car.
Have you noticed men's hair styles are also going back to the '70s? I've noticed a lot of kids walking around with the ugly '70s hair. High gas prices, muscle cars on the way out, small cars the new "in" thing, ugly hair,--- Man,all we need is the return of plaid bellbottoms and it's 1973 all over again in 2008.

Anyway, I guess another Mustang II (Mustang II II?) and a revival of Disco Music is not far behind!
This is the only car I ever liked in gold, I was 8 years old, and my best friends extremely hot mom drove one. They made 2500 and she had one, they also made 500 in red and black, but I've never seen one of those.

Flame on, but this looks good for 1980.

Speak for yourself Gary...

To each their own... its not for me. Some people thought Purple was a terrible and girly color to offer the Plymouth Prowler in, I thought it was the 2nd best one. But in all honesty, the 69-73 color is more gold or copper...which is ok for those who like it but the focus is definitely bile...i've seen my dog produce the same color after bad kibble

And the focus itself is hideous...

I agree totally!
When I saw the first picture this is the exact car I was thinking of.
I think the black accents help alot.

I just threw up in my mouth a little.
But seriously, I think Ford should kick up their colors. High priced imports like Lexus, BMW or Mercedes have amazing colors. Getting a classier color palate would really help their image and it doesn't cost anything.
