Adjustable Panhard Bar Question

So we put my dad's new rear tires & wheels on his car last weekend and the rear end is "off" about 1/3-1/2" shifted left. It's pretty noticable with his rims being a 10" wide with 295 series tires. The left sticks out a bit beyond the fender and the right is in just a tad. If we purchased an adjustable panhard bar could we fix this to make it square at the stock factory ride height? I know I've read you get these to adjust on lowered cars but he doesn't plan to lower just wants the rear end to be centered.

Yep. An adjustable panhard bar will allow you to center things up. Even with OEM suspension, you can have an offset axle and it would be more noticable with wider wheels.

It's more a build quality/fit & finish issue I think. Really no harm to anything just doesn't look right. For the time it would take to file a claim with ford and have fixed (not even sure how they would) I think we are better off spending $150 on a part to do ourselves.

Manufacturing tolerances probably allow for some variance without any negative effect, and the Ford service center would send you packing.

When I lower my car 1" it will be getting an adjustable panhard bar. I mean, why wouldn't you, there are several available for less than $200, and your car would sit right.
