I got another coupon today! Three in all!

Well crud, think I'll just be pissed at Ford too then, neither of my brochures had any pre-approved credit on them even though I have financed 3 cars with Ford Credit including my current Mustang...

 

All crap, got my brochure but no rebate just same interest my dealer offering. Should I request another brochure, or am I locked in their system to get the same crappy offer?

 

Request another. Use your middle name. Or first and middle initials as your first name.

 

Order a brochure in a different variation of your name (Middle or Initials) or someone else who lives in the same household (only transferable within household).

 

I was really surprised at the Pre-Approval...I don't remember seeing or reading that they (Ford) would run my credit...I'm sure it was in the fine print that most Americans don't read. Anyway, it was a pleasant surprise since I plan on taking advantage of Ford's 3 years / 0% interest. I'm hoping to order my GT this Monday...so wish me luck

 

I have recieved pre-approval financing offers in the mail before but they always say in the fine print that the interst rate depends on a final credit check.

got one in my name, no dice on the $750..... got one with my wife's name...boom $750 weird....

 

The rep on the CS line said it's a crap shoot, he didn't know what triggers the computer system to send the offer. All I know is I just rolled a seven.

I just got mine in the mail ($750 rebate offer and pre-approval up to 50k)

Anyway, the rebate does say new 2010/2011 cars, but it also says from dealer stock.

Can anyone tell from my order sheet if mine was ordered dealer stock?

I requested the brochure a week or two ago. I got it earlier this week.
It was the larger tri fold with the kona blue gt500 on it.
The "offer i wasnt expecting" (and isnt really any good) was not the $750 but instead pre-approved credit for 60 monhs at 4.9% (same deal on the ford website). First I can get a better rate elsewhere, I didn't give any one my SS# to do a credit check which is odd and with my credit score of 790 that really wasnt a great offer.

I did just request another brochure for the 2010 and 2011 mustangs using my middle name and a variation of my first name

 

I posted this on 5/5/10. Yesterday I received the 2011 brochure. It also has the $750 rebate. We're only buying one car in the household, so the second rebate coupon is kind useless. Too bad not transferable.

 

I hadn't received, but only ordered my brochure and I still got the discount when my salesman looked up my rebates. He seemed to think it was "random", but I got the $750 because my address was "randomly selected". I got the brochure in the mail two days later and it only mentioned the financing, but I still received the $750.

 

As soon as the computer prints the brochure if you get the discount it is in the system even if you haven't recieved the brochure in the mail yet.

 

Yeah, I got my 2010 brochure in mail today and it had the $750 coupon in the back. It does say 2010/2011 cars and from dealer stock. Hope I can use this, as my car is coming in in 3 weeks (hopefully).

 

I ordered about seven brochures in my name and variations of my first name and NO coupon. I also ordered 3 or 4 brochures in my wife's name and they all had the coupon!! And her first name is Robin which could be male or female...go figure. The car is going to be in her name anyway so that's good even though Iknow they are transferable..
