$750 Brochure Rebates on 2011 Mustang
Or you can lose money in "real investments" and increasing your percentage of "used credit" can drive DOWN your credit score which drives UP your insurance costs. Those salesmen for the credit bureaus sure have gotten into businesses that I sure see no logical correlation to. But you can make statistics say whatever you want if you work hard enough!

Some online savings pay 1%. On $30k, that's $300/year. That's $900+ (compounding) over the 3 years you'd borrow at 0%. So rather than pump it into the stock market, try Paul's Christmas Club or my savings account.
To each their own. I was just pointing out that there are negative to using credit. As I said, your credit score is a big part of your life and it is a proprietary secret of how it is calculated. Many theories out there and anecdotal evidence of what increases/decreases it.
To paraphrase an old saying, there's no such thing as free money!

I pay cash for one reason. If you finance you have to carry full coverage insurance which I don't want to do for 5 years or however long the payment plan is. If I pay cash I can go to liability only anytime I choose which it typically after 2 or 3 years.
What car are you driving now? When I called Ford's marketing number last week they said not everybody will get that private offer. They didn't say why?
I got another post card kind of deal today in the mail with the same $750 offer on it. Too bad you can't stack them!

Maybe you already used the offer recently, or perhaps it came in a different brochure? It should be on the inside of the third fold.
I got my brochure today and it had the $750 rebate in there plain as day. Valid until July 6th. Woo!

Let's hope we get our cars in time!! I wonder how long it will sit after it's built...

Sorry, dude... you just make it SO easy. It's nothing personal. I really like your current ride.
I just got two brochures in the mail today from our sign up at Fab Fords, one had the rebate and the other did not, I hope mine comes in before June 29th but hey!
It seems to be random as to which (if any) rebate offer you get. Some brochures get no rebate, some get a rebate for 2009 and 2010 Mustangs, some are good for 2010's and 2011's, some are good only for V6 Mustangs.
Read your brochure carefully...the $750 rebate is good on ALL mustangs ( V6 & V8) except the Selby's. The interest rate promo's is what seems to be on the V6's
It is a random offer generated by Ford not an ATM machine that you can just pull $750 out of. Request another one and see if you get it this time.
