$750 Brochure Rebates on 2011 Mustang
My Rebate is for the 2010/2011. I think they just changed the wording.
If you have your VIN and a Brochure Rebate with the 2009/2010 wording and the date is still good call the dealer and have him run your "Customer ID" which is on the Rebate Coupon with your VIN through the Smart Vincent System. If it accepts it your good whether its "Dealer Stock" and a 2011 or not. If not you need a Coupon with the new 2010/2011 Wording. As I understand it Ford just uses that wording to stop people from trying to collect on an expired rebate when the car is delivered. Often times rebate can expire while customers are waiting on delivery or dealer transfer. That dealer stock wording is on basically every incentive Ford offers.

Don't worry about the dealer stock part. Once the car is on the ground it counts as dealer stock even if it was a retail order. They state it this way because if you roder when the program is in effect and it expires before the car arrives you aren't eligible.
Considering I don't have a build date, I guess I should have held off on my coupon brochure order. And just my luck my car will arrives after 6/1 so I miss out on 0% financing and 500 cash back.
**** you, get out of "processing", car!

Dont get to excited. My order went in on 3-29 and was scheduled for 4-19 before the Plant Shutdown Last Week. It was rescheduled for today. Remains to be seen is I get it by the latest 4-08 delivery estimate. Still roughly 4 weeks to build and 6 weeks to delivery isnt bad considering the amount of orders they have.

All i know is my car was ordered as 'Retail Dealer Inventory'. The 'Window Sticker' has my name on it. I ordered the car on March 17th and it is in 'Transit' as of April 24th.
If you have the VIN call the dealer and have him run Program #33142 + Customer Code ID (On Rebate Coupon) + your VIN and see if it goes through. Someone needs to try this with one of the Coupons labeled 2009/2010. If Smart Vincent accepts it you wont need to get a 2010/2011 Coupon.
Thanks Gene. Thing is I haven't placed an order yet, and I probably won't do so for another couple of months or so. Hopefully some of these things will still be around late summer.
Since this came up on another topic and generated a lot of interest I will make a new topic.
The $750 Brochure Rebate Coupons now beeing mailed out are now for 2010/2011 Ford, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles excepting some hybrids and limited production vehicles like the GT500. I received one Friday the 4-23 and confirmed it on Smart Vincent with my 2011 Mustang VIN.
1. Go on Ford Vehicles.com and order a paper snail mail Brochure. They usually take 10-14 days. I ordered a 2010 Mustang Brochure because 2011 brochures are taking about twice that due to demand.
2. Select 0-30 days for time frame before buying.
3. If you have received a Brochure Rebate Coupon before order the brochure using another household members name (Rebate Coupon is household transferable only) or your middle name as Ford only sends one coupon per person.
3. It is combinable with all public incentives (Like Low APR or $500 Bonus Cash) but not Private Ones (Like Millitary $500).
4. It is not usable with A/Z/D Plans but is usable with X-Plan
5. Mine is good for 60 days form the day they printed and mailed it.
PS If you have a 2011 coming in and already have a 2009/2010 Brochure Rebate Coupon that is still good I would call the dealer and have him run a Smart Vincent using the Program ID (33142) and your Customer ID (On Coupon) with your VIN as it may work.
