Hmm, that's what I was afraid of. I hope they continue it?

$750 Rebate Coupon on 2011 Mustang

I got my $750 rebate coupon for the 2011 Mustang today. What I found most interesting is that the offer also says that I've been pre-approved by Ford credit for $50K by Ford credit! The puzzling thing is that I never applied for a loan or financing from Ford, although I indicated to the dealership salesman that I would take/use 0% financing if it was still available at the time of delivery (end of June or early July.) But I didn't apply for it yet or authorize any credit report check on my behalf.
Yet the brochure states that this offer is "based on info in your credit reporth indicating that you meet certain criteria."huh!?! Big Brother is definitely watching! btw, offer expires 8/5/10.

wow, they extended it quite a bit . . . that is good news, might actually provide time to order and receive a car before it expires

I'm not sure where I stand right now, I have received one tri-fold flyer that was specifically about the 2010 and had the private offer for the 2010, also a postcard that looked like it came from my local dealer that had the 2010 private offer . . . not sure if either of those was triggered by my request for a 2011 brochure; will wait and see what comes next.

I just got mine in the mail. It expires July 6th. Think my car will make it in time? I have two 750 offers, one for 2010 one for 2011. You think if I request one more in a month the offer will be around?

I just got home from getting my car. I requested the brochure about 3 weeks ago and never received it. I was going to use the $500 college credit and when my salesman looked up some numbers on his computer it showed the $750 rebate in the system under my name, so I was able to use it without actually having the brochure.

waterlogged in the mailbox, but it finally came today...actually, Ford sent two of them -- I guess in my hastiness I ordered it twice...

For all the others waiting, if there was hope for me, there is hope for everyone...

I got the e-mail that it was in the mail on 4/28. Still no pamphlet. It has only another week+ (hopefully) to get here.

Got mine yesterday, $750 on the 2011's and a 7/6 expiration.

Question: Will Ford followup with a "regular" brochure mailing to us or is this it?

Excellent question. I was wondering the same thing. My gut tells me this is it. Why pay postage twice? They could send the "real" brochure with an insert with the $750 off if they were going to give us the swanky one. My guess is between the ability to get one at the dealer and the PDF download, they're not inclined to send out much more than the tri-fold. And as far as I'm concerned, as long as it has the $750 off, fair enough!

Mine finally came yesterday...No $750. coupon, just 0% APR financing for 36 months offer. Useless for me, as I am paying cash. WTF?

Why would you pay cash instead of 0%? I am no financial wizard but I know I can earn more than 0% by investing in a christmas club let alone a real investment.
