50th Anniversary Wheels Fit on 2014 W/Brembos

Do the 2015 50th Anniversary Wheels fit over the 4 piston Brembo brakes like on the 2014 GT?

I have a buddy with them, but he's also running 1" spacers front and rear so he has plenty of clearance. Idk if he tried them on without the spacers though. I'll ask...

Thanks for the pictures. Looks better than I thought. I would appreciate you asking your friend about the fitment.

Ah he said they don't fit over the fronts without a spacer...

That's strange. I thought the 50th Anniversary model came with 6 piston brembo calipers. Maybe the 6 piston calipers are thinner than the 4 piston calipers.

These are the 50th Appearance Package wheels, not the 50th Limited Edition wheels, which are the same dimensions as the 15+ Performance Package. The AP wheels are 19x8.5 and I believe +45 offset.

Ford reworked the 2015 suspension to have better wheel fitment over large calipers:
http://www.stangtv.com/tech-stories/...n-kenny-brown/

"Ford has said that one of the key advantages with this suspension design is their ability to use larger brake systems without the need for extreme wheel offsets."

I'm guessing no 2015+ wheels will fit over S197 Brembos without spacers...

From the threads I have read on other forums, 2015+ wheels will generally "work" on 2014- cars but they are not the best choice because:
- center bore is larger; so they won't hub-center
- lugs and lug nut taper is different; need to get a set of lug nuts with the old thread and the new taper
- different TPMS system; not compatible (have to buy new sensors)

plus, maybe brake clearance problems.

Better to buy wheels that were designed for the car, then try to make some work that were not.
