This week I smoked a hemi truck from a dig ; and a modded 2002 SS from ~50MPH punch. I gave the SS the jump, By 110 I had the SS 4-5 lengths. He was done. This car amazes me more and more.

Had a camero ss from a dig giving him the jump had him by a car length at a 100.

I can understand the SS, but what is it with hemi guys? It seems hemi somewhere along the line has become slang for "instant win"

Then again the modern hemi with its dual quench pads is more akin to the Boss 429's "semi-hemi" combustion chamber than it is the actual MOPAR hemis of yore

 

I get more guys with trucks trying to race me than anything else. I get a chuckle out of it.

 

So true! That is only one of many that have tried. I entertained that one only because of boredom I guess. I owned a 2010 Tundra with the 5.7iforce and it moved but to try and take on a car like a GT or SS....
