5.0 head flow numbers
If its a repost.. sorry..
this doesnt make sense..
" One technician stated that the connecting rod is much better than the 3-valve rod, but it’s not recommended for use in a boosted engine still."
esp since they offer Boost packages for the 3v that make close to 500hp

yup because as was posted earlier ford is already working with whipple of dealer insstalled superchargers. The 5.0 can take some boost. and doesn't need as much as the 4.6 to achieve the same numbers...

livernois says 311 cfm intake flow. they also say near 400 ported. my opinion is, they are fudging the flow numbers. they are selling ported heads. why not loe ball it and show 400 ported when they are really much higher stock. it isnt the first time for them.
if fox lake says 311 i will accept that.

Close, as in 550 HP: http://www.fordracingparts.com/parts...KeyField=11436
so if the 3v's are taking 12psi and making 550 off the crank.. im sure the 5.0 can handle 8-10 no issue.. but i wouldnt go much higher..
even with 11:1, the oil squirters, ti- vct, im sure it can be tuned, just fine to handle that much.. and wouldnt be supprised on hitting 580 RWHP
