Guys,

Englishtown Raceway is getting thier 2011 Schedule together, and I've already talked to them about getting
the 5.0(2011+) vs SS (Camaro) on the Schedule.

Hows the Interest on this though.... Thoughts?? This COULD be a HUGE EVENT!!!

 

Why limit it to the V8's?

 

and why limit it only to the 2011 5.0 and the 2010-11 SS.......why not just all mustangs/camaros, cause i got an 05 gt and i will be down for that in a heartbeat

 

what's there to think about- it's only been a rivalry for 40+ some years...

 

well to only limit it to the new 5.0 would be stupid, all years or nothing IMHO

 

^ yea im down with all years. I was just commenting on the OP's where he asked for thoughts on it. And it never gets old seeing a Camaro and Stang line up.

 

well contact this guy again and tell him mustang/camaro in general, im only 45mins away from E-Town damnit and i want in with my 05! lol

Why if it was Up to me, which it Certainly is Not, I would say ALL Mustangs, but what was mentioned was that the 2011+ Stangs, are like the 2010 Camaro's in that they Represent a New Generation. If ALL Mustangs were allowed, then ALL Camaro's would Follow suit, ie., the 2002 Camaro & Down...I'm CERTAIN that if this Comes to pass that they would have a Class of the 4.6 and down Stangs vs. the 2002 Camaro's and down....I'm going to Contact my Home track of Maple Grove(PA) about this as well...

E-town i would do in a heartbeat.. but i really dont want to drive to Maple Grove.. 6+ hours from my house.
