The rest he said was some kind of synthetic. The 401A is the same material throughout the seat. I'm still not 100% sure to this date.

90% of cars are like that. Very few use all leather.

There is no way the 401A has any more leather in it than the 400A. It is just the seating surfaces on the buckets that are leather. The sides, back and entire rear seat are Pleather.

The 401A option is what like $400? That is including the blacked out dash, door panel ornaments and shifter. If the 401A was really 100% Leather that would be more like a $2000 option ... not $400.

Yeah I was thinking about that too. That certainly would be the bargain of the century wouldn't it? At any rate, I really liked the 401A, mostly because of the dash and shifter. Might have to go with it.

Just out of curiousity whenever I see the 401a leather it looks like it would wear faster. On 2010 models with it I have seen some cracks in the leather and *** prints. My question would be if you are sitting on it every day driving would the 401a leather permamently contour to your body. This doesn't seem to be the case with the 400a. Also if the leather were ripped it would stick out like a sore thumb on the 401a if it were repaired. I would think on the 400a a seat repair would be far harder to spot. I do agree though the 401a looks better. But does it wear equally?

My 400A interior vs my '68 deluxe interior 400A is a little more vintage looking due to the rippling on the seats.

I do like the 400A seats because of the classic look as well! Which means that would go better with the cue ball shift ****. Just sayin'!

That's an old picture of Adam's car. He was one of the first to add the 401A shiftknob/boot.

Yeah, I don't think I ever took a new interior picture with the 401A ****.

Last I checked you have to be sitting in the seat with a cup clenched between your legs!

Oh yeah in my 08 Mustang, I use the cupholders more for debit card receipts!

Mine was the bargain of the century! $295.00 for a full set of 2010 take-off covers that were removed for a Roush Mustang conversion!
