3m Carbon fiber wrap

Does anyone know if I will need adhesion promotor for 3m wrap. I will be using it on the interior and exterior.

I can't imagine exterior would need it, i have a Carbon fiber wrap on my car but not made by the same company and didn't need an adhesion promoter.

Unless I'm mistaken, Adhesion promoter is usually only needed to strengthen adherence to plastic and you never want to get it on paint as it will destroy clear coat. That's why you always put it on the plastic piece (scoop, louver), then apply the 3m adhesive. You only use alcohol on the metal painted surface.

What they said. Generally, you don't need adhesion promoter. If you are going to use Di-Noc and you decided to use adhesion promoter you can use the 3m 94.

Definitely use the promoter on interior pieces because I had issues with the wrap staying adhered during the summer months. I re-did my 2 areas with promoter and then I had no more issues.
