I got the Boss. A big difference in feel over my 2011 GT. I do miss the luxury and practicality of the GT-P: leather, Sync, a bit more lower end torque for city driving. Maybe a nice touch screen Navi and some headers will do the trick.

So the previous owner removed the side stripes and added a 5.0 badge? I'm not sure I like it.

Car looks great. I think I have seen that car at Cars and Coffee in Charlotte, NC a couple of times. I actually never went to look at it much since it looks like just another 5.0 with add on parts.

I don't get it any more but when I had my GT and the fogs were on occassionally I'd get an oncoming driver flashing his lights like mad because they thought I had the high-beams on. Then they would just leave their high beams on and I would engage mine.
I would really like to know what they were thinking when I cut them on? Was it; "Finally this guy cut his high beams off but why are the low beams so bright"? or was it? "I just can't when with this d-bag, he runs around with his high beams on and the low beams are aimed straight into my face, what a jerk".

I can't see where the Boss is any less practical than the GT in day to day driving with the exception of its slightly lower ground clearence.
It out powers the V6 by a handy margin as well as the 2010 and below Mustangs with the exception of the GT500 making day to day drivng a non-issue with the exception of the clutch in heavy traffic or the city planners favorite speed control device (a plethora of traffic lights and the inability to intelligently place them as it seems Walmart can dictate when and how it wants traffic to flow).
The lack of amenities also doesn't seem to me to be a big deal, while sparse by 2012 or 2013 standards its well equipped compared to what came before and given the state of broadcast radio (whatever ******* came up with an 8 song list playing the same 8 songs every hour needs to be skinned alive then doused with battery acid) renders the radio all but useless compared to totting around a personal media device.

Good choice on the Boss.
If I had to do it again I would have still got the Premium GT over the 2012 Boss at the time of my purchase.
The car is definitely a different animal but I was surprised and disappointed that Ford didn't consider this as truly another 'bridge' between the GT + the SVT offering, as in another speciality/'gentleman's'/professional's car like the Bullitt or Mach 1. In which the performance was simply added to the everyday-luxo features rather than detracting from it.
Love the hardcore but kind of the point of these revival/premium-paid models is that we're in 2011/2012/2013 where the cake comes with eating it as well - and you can pay for it too.
I Knew the performance would eventually give way to just wanting to be able to take bluetooth phone calls as ownership started to rack up in years.
If I was really alone in thinking like this, there wouldn't be a 1967+ Shelby Mustang, let alone a 2013 Boss 302 w/ HIDs!
