301A Electric Recaros

Howdy,

I have a manual/no-tech pack recarro seat car on order.
while revisiting the dealership i sat in a number of cars. One of the things I realized is I like the tilt function of the base electric seat (bottom cushion). The recarros they had were all manual, which is what I ordered anyway. The manual recarros only have: forward & back, up & down, and seat back tilt.

My question:
does the 301A electric adjust Recarros have the same TILT function of the bottom cushion as the 301A non recarro seats? (not the seat back tilt).
I may upgrade to that option. I have long legs and when sitting w/ my legs/knees in a good spot I need a lot more under thigh support. This would be a big deal on long trips

What about the lumbar air? That would be nice but not a deal breaker.

thanks,
Morgan

ford web says 301A:
6 way power driver's seat.

I'd sure have been peeved to not know about no-electric recarros only.
Thanks!

I guess you pay the same $1200 for same tech pack but don't get the power.
the 'build your own' function doesnt exclude recarros when choosing 301A

None of the Recaros, from the V6 up to the GT500, are powered.

The 301A package lists power seat and SYNC, but when you opt for Recaros, it nullifies the power seat part (but keeps the SYNC), so it becomes an expensive way to get SYNC. I order all of our store's vehicles, so when I order base GT's I put Recaros in the 300A GT's and base seats (with power & SYNC) in the 301A GT's.

I'd gladly swap your manual Recaros for my power heated seats.

How about heated, and powered Recaro's? Looks like they are available aftermarket. Dont know know if they fit in the Mustang.

Picked up my 301A Recaro the other day. I was somewhat surprised to see they were not power when that was one of the highlights of the tech package. I pretty much got over it as soon as I drove the car. Would have been nice to have power, but not a big deal. Like Brian said, if you want Recaros you might just want to get the 300A.

Hello y5e06,

As others have mentioned, the 6 way power driver seat is what would come standard on the 301A spec. The Recaro seats are optional and only come manual.

I would trade my power heated special seats for recaros in a manual

the rare times I do have people in the back it takes 10 minutes for both seats to slowly move forward lol

heated/cooled recaros would be nice, but honestly how many times do you change the seat adjustments once you found a comfortable position for you? Unless you have a bunch of people driving your mustang i dont see you change the seat "preferences" that much. just my .02
