A 3000 mile review of my '13 GT
A 3000 mile review of my '13 GT
I have had 2 fast (or at least fast to me) Mustangs prior to the 5.0 (a supercharged '00 GT and a cammed '03), the 5.0 blows both of em away in terms of power and gas mileage. No complaints or problems as of 3110 miles.
-GT 500 chrome rims in 19
-GT 500 axle back
-Tune
-Speaker replacement
I recommend getting those GT500 axle backs sooner rather than later! They sound like what should have come stock on these cars...
I still have less than 1k on mine and it is by far the best Mustang I have ever owned.

The GT500's sound awesome and my 2013 GT is not only the best Mustang that I have owned, but one of the most fun vehicles overall that I have owned.
Getting my GT500 axle backs put on tomorrow, would you guys advise to remove the resonators as well or is just the mufflers loud enough; don't care for drone, had enough with 04 gt (no cats and x pipe).
I found that with the resonators in place, the car still sounded amazing. It was significantly louder than stock and much more "muscular" sounding. I wanted a bit of flexibility so I added the Boss quad exhaust (with the removable baffles)...but the GT500s on their own are superb and got lots of compliments.
It might be worth leaving them in at first and pulling them later if you're not impressed.

So I agree, add the GT500's first and then go the delete route later...
