A 3000 mile review of my '13 GT

I have had 2 fast (or at least fast to me) Mustangs prior to the 5.0 (a supercharged '00 GT and a cammed '03), the 5.0 blows both of em away in terms of power and gas mileage. No complaints or problems as of 3110 miles.

Great to hear!!
What are your plans for mods?

I love that Deep Impact Blue!! I'd have a hard time not picking that over my Kona Blue if both were available at the same time.

Once the 36K warranty is up:

-GT 500 chrome rims in 19
-GT 500 axle back
-Tune
-Speaker replacement

None of those items would void your warranty...why wait??

Tune can potentially void the warranty

I will at least do the wheels and tires, but it will have to be after I do my income taxes.

The tune and the axle back I can wait on.

I recommend getting those GT500 axle backs sooner rather than later! They sound like what should have come stock on these cars...

I still have less than 1k on mine and it is by far the best Mustang I have ever owned.

The GT500's sound awesome and my 2013 GT is not only the best Mustang that I have owned, but one of the most fun vehicles overall that I have owned.

Getting my GT500 axle backs put on tomorrow, would you guys advise to remove the resonators as well or is just the mufflers loud enough; don't care for drone, had enough with 04 gt (no cats and x pipe).

It might be worth leaving them in at first and pulling them later if you're not impressed.

I found that with the resonators in place, the car still sounded amazing. It was significantly louder than stock and much more "muscular" sounding. I wanted a bit of flexibility so I added the Boss quad exhaust (with the removable baffles)...but the GT500s on their own are superb and got lots of compliments.

I just have the GT500's on (still with the resonators) and they definitely sound great! I would love to hear one with the resonators deleted to compare before I took that step, cause I am happy with the sound as they are now.

So I agree, add the GT500's first and then go the delete route later...

Love the GT 500 axle back's tone; I took the advice and left the resonators on for now. I assume it'll get louder as the mufflers get broke in?
