No issues at all. They ride nice. They are awesome in the rain. I did a lot of research on them before I bought them and heard nothing but good things. According to my GPS, they are only off by 1 MPH at 60. When my speedometer reads 60 I'm actually going 61. Not worth worrying about.

They produce an absolute water fog behind the car and stay planted to the road for exceptional wet surface traction. They aren't susceptible to hydroplaning either. They also don't easily break loose on dry pavement. I also liked the flange guard sidewalls that protects wheels from curb rash.
HTR Z III hold up better for very aggressive driving. The II's can chunk, III's are a bit better from my experience. But great tire for the money!

I've driven them on the road and during dry & wet track events. They do very well in the wet, also in the dry. I think I had 1000 track miles and 20k street miles on my previous car.

I also loved the HTRZ II because they weren't at all bad to pick up rock. I hate pea gravel in tire tread. My '07 had roughly 26,000 miles on it when I traded. The HTRZ II's had about half the tread remaining at that point. The only problem I had with them is outside wear, until I found that the 40 series rubber and 18x10 Bullitts (the Tulsa dealership installed), wasn't trued up with an alignment check. The alignment guru at my local dealershp ended up installing a camber kit to allow for "out of specs" alignment for the wider wheels and rubber, which is something the Tulsa dealership should have done in the beginning. Other than that, the HTRZs served me very well. When the Pirellis are done, I'll probably go back to the HTRZ rubber.

I'd probably use them again for street driving. I witnessed Michelin Pilot Sports do better in the rain, but at almost 3x the cost, I couldn't justify the small amount of improved performance.

Nitto NT01's will by my... fun... tire once I pick up a set of 18's to put them on. But they are overkill for street driving. HTR Z III's hold up great and are sticky enough to have some fun

That's what I got (Continental ExtremeContact DWS)! Love them so far. I got 275/40s all around. 540 treadwear rating

I had them on a Saab 9-3 Aero convertible that had been tuned up to about 335hp. The Continentals were an absolute dream- especially in the wet. I put about 15k miles on them before trading in the car, and the tires showed virtually zero wear. Really quiet, too. The only slight knock against them is the sidewalls are just a little bit soft. The only place you notice it is on the track in a really hard corner- or if you try to take a cloverleaf ramp at over double the posted speed...

Basically, I will not be too sad when I wear through the factory supplied tires...

PS- MHoss, I run BFGs on my '65- but I try to keep her on the road!

They do ride nice. However, they squirm like a mother in corners. I had a set on my GTO. Great in the winter, but they had way too much sidewall flex for my liking. If you shoved the car at a standstill, you could watch the wheel move around on the tire. Never again.

As much as I love the track pack wheels, I wasnt impressed by the tires when i test drove one. The GT I have now, has the standard 18" wheels, and even though I wish they were wider, i'm very happy with them. Not to mention Im going on 26k miles and still have a bit of tread left.

But the Brembo/Track wheels are awesome looking.

I will actually be selling my track pack wheels and tires shortly if anyone is interested. Going at a reasonable price, too. PM if interested.
