It is longer than usual. If it wasn't for the plant shutdown I'd be getting the car middle of July. The 4 week shutdown is what really messed up my delivery timing. If my car was scheduled for production 1 day early this wouldn't have happened. 
But it got scheduled for right after the shutdown. Actually I think parts of my car are already in the pipeline inside Flat Rock assembly. The body panels, the doors etc. In order to finish the same day the plan re-opens I think they have to be.

Mazda ceased production of their vehicles at FRAP qute some time ago and ended their partnership in the plant. That said, Flat Rock is reportedly one of the most flexible production operations that Ford operates, and has extensive experience in simultaneous production of FWD and RWD platforms. There is always some worry, though, whenever you any significant modification to any assembly operation. I share your same hope that any disruption to the Mustang line will be minimal.

Very nice looking cars! Besides the rear axle assembly, other Boss 302 components you should find on that track pack car include the cooling system (radiator and oil cooler).
Anyone out there know if the track pack cars utilize a different PCM calibration than a standard manual transmission 5.0?

Have the glass roof on my 2011, that's why I ordered it on the 14.
The 662 ( crank ) hp is a starting point, have upgrade plans already. Performance mods will have to wait till next year, still have to finish up on the 11.

Hopefully, just a few more weeks now. I've already built a small parts bin that will going on it. Picked up some used GT500 quad mufflers, got a CAI and SCT tuner ready for the new bama tune. Ordering a new shift **** today. And getting my dealership to order the GT500 rear diffuser.

Hello everyone! I've been doing a lot of reading on this forum for the past couple of months, very helpful info throughout! I haven't had a car in years, much less a fast one, lol. I've been holding out for a long time, but finally broke down and ordered a GT. I had a '98 Cobra a decade ago, loved it but thought I was done with cars. Obviously I was wrong, lol. Still waiting on Marilyn, details in my sig. Oh, and to all you current/soon to be Shelby owners...I am insanely jealous

I can't help by wonder. I noticed your order date was a month after mine, but you will be getting your car a full month ahead of me!!!
I wish someone could tell me why the Ford ordering process is so F***** unfair!

The weather finally cleared up here in Michigan so Lyla got her first bath and a couple coats of Zaino. I wouldn't let the dealer detail her so she had been dirty since I picked her up the other day. She was happy to be cleaned up and to get out of the garage and stretch her legs today.
