they are a little louder than the v6 mufflers and probably flow a little better since the piping it a little bigger but you wouldnt notice a difference in performance. they arent a direct bolt on so youll have to get a exhaust shop to put them on.

Strictly a sound change.

And it is a cut and weld deal to install the GT mufflers on a V6 since the pipe size is different, 2.75" GT, 2.25" V6.

I have my stockers sitting out in the garage, no biggie if they sit there for years, they are SS so they won't rust away.

If anyone in the Detroit area wants a pair of 2013 GT mufflers, I'm giving them away!

But I won't ship them.

Wait just a minute!

If a bunch of V6 owners install GT mufflers, what's going to happen to all those stock V6 mufflers?

I'm just sayin'..........

No!!!! Just put GT500's on it if you're going to upgrade.

I've got a set of 2014 stock GT mufflers that I removed too in favor of the SVT GT500 mufflers. Let me know if anyone wants them in the San Jose/Santa Cruz area for free.

If there are too many stock GT mufflers available, you may have to offer people money to take them.

At the very least they would have some value at a scrap metal yard, they weigh a lot.

Threw them in the dumpster at a local grocery store. Wish I had known. I'd paid you $10 to just come& get them.

lol at the grocery store dumpster. ill probably just wait and do aftermarket exhaust. im really thinking about leaving the stock axle backs but replacing everything in between the motor and the stock axle backs.

I've been strongly considering the GT500's for the Wifey's Mustang. She probably doesn't even know she wants them.

I guess I'll do as many, just store them in the basement beside the stock GT wheels that I thought about selling until I saw like 100 sets on Ebay and Craigslist.

I'm starting to accumulate a pile of parts in my garage- Gt mufflers, original shifter, soon a whole track pack suspension set - maybe that one might have some value?
