Also in these pictures the leather seats don't seem to be perforated, like the 11/12 400a. Could just be poor lighting/camera though.

Wow. I'd be tempted to get a non-premium car now that they have sync and leather steering wheel. Much prefer the cloth Recaros over the leather.

 

hey everyone, just saw a 2013 black 5.0 getting delivered to Royal Oak ford's annex lot

Not sure if its a customer order or if it is manual/auto, but it has the base wheels (non brembo)
Truck was delivering it as I drove by about 7pm today. should be listed pretty soon on their site, if it isnt already.

Also, my buddy picked up his 2013 deep impact blue V6 with recaros earlier today and he let me sit in it... cloth RECAROS FTW!!!

I cant wait to get my GT soon...if they would only start building the track packs

 

Have you ever sat in the leather ones? I know the gt prem has all leather ones compared to the leather and suede ones on the boss and Shelby. I'm hoping the full leather ones aren't too slippery.

 

I sure havent, first time I got to check any version of the recaros out was yesterdayand also the main reason I just ordered a base GT...I wanted the cloth seats but well see.

anybody have any feedback on the leather recaros??? are they slippery at all...thats why i went with cloth...

 

Hey bud, I drove a GT500 back on a dealer trade for a forum member who bought it from me. It has the leather recaros and they are AMAZING!!! It was a 165 mile/3+ hour drive and they are the greatest seats I ever sat in (short of the Ford GT supercar seats, which are in a different realm, as they are Sparcos and $7,000 a piece separate)!!

Just because it has leather doesn't make it slippery. They are bolstered the exact same as the cloth and you fit in them and don't move around. Why people think these are all of a sudden not good because of leather is beyond me. They are worth every penny Ford charges!! PHENOMINAL!!!

anyone know if the recaros use the same seat rails as the standard seats? need to add extenders and don't want to build my own again.

hmmmm...should be interesting I bought extenders from CJ parts would like to use them. The ones I've made in the past I don't really trust, haven't been in an accident so no real test data. <knock on wood>
