I just think there needs to be a reduction in length and some width. Of course it should remain RWD and I certainly do not mind if it has 4-cyl Ecoboost engine as standard in true SVO spirit as long as Ford will offer V6 and V8 options for those who want it. Ford should be able to show off 4-cyl tech as well as V8 tech. As long as a Mustang remains fun to drive and good looking while paying respect to tradition then I see no problem.

It will be nice to see a forward evolution of the Mustang theme worked into some new shapes and forms.

So, as for '13's landing....

I order all the Mustangs for the dealership I work at. Our first '13 for store inventory was built on 2/29 and had an original ETA of 3/21, but that just got pushed back to 3/29. No surprises, since they're doing quality holds & checks before releasing them.

Our first customer order is being built 3/26 and has an ETA of 4/10, but I suspect that the quality checks will delay that a bit, as well.

So far, all that we've gotten scheduled are GT Coupes. No verts, no V6's, and no Bosses; even though we have some of each ordered.

My Boss had an original ETA of 3/19 then 3/24 and now it is 3/30. Built 3/10. My dealer always said probably mid April, lol. He just may be right.... or later.

The New Fusion reminds me of the old Contour (Remember That?). Ya, it's a little bigger, but generally the "soft" lines make it look very generic. Looks wise, nowhere near as nice as the Kia Optima. All I am saying is enjoy these days while you can. The days of 500 plus HP are surely ending. I don't oppose a car in the same class as the Scion FRS/Subaru BRZ, just saying what we all enjoy now will be truly missed...

Pretty sure the antenna is in the car and it screws onto that small piece.

You know, people have been saying this for the past couple years it seems and cars are only getting more powerful while also becoming more efficient and more "green." We're living in a time where you can purchase 650-horsepower, Ford-built Mustangs; 580-horsepower, Chevrolet-built Camaros; etc. Horsepower, fuel economy and low emissions are no longer mutually exclusive. The fact the 2013 GT500 is devoid of any sort of gas guzzler tax is amazing in my opinion.

Oh, and I completely disagree with you regarding the stunning 2013 Ford Fusion.
