2013 Order and Production Dates
Hey all!
I introduced myself in a previous thread but it got deleted, so...hi!
I have been lurking here over a year from back when I was going to order a 2012 Boss (and then decided against it in favor of the wife's 2011 Explorer). I like this place; it seems like most people are nice and polite in comparison to many other Mustang forums.
I now intend to order a 2013 Boss in either that green with a stupid name or that grabber orange aka school bus yellow once I find a reasonable dealer that doesn't want to hose me in the face. My wife's grandfather also gave us a fairly complete 1970 302-2V coupe that I have been playing with the last several months.
Anyhoo, now that the intros are out of the way, here is the useful stuff. These are the recently published tentative 2012/2013 transition dates:
MY12:
Final Orders Due: 12/23/11
Last Day to Change/Cancel: 1/6/11
Job Last Date: 2/24/12
MY13:
Order Banks Open: 12/5/11
Scheduling: 1/26/12
Job 1 Start: 2/27/12

It is posted in the Ford Fleet Distribution News Bulletin. I would think dealers are supposed to be up on it but I doubt very many actually look at it.
It has a chart that shows order/production start and end dates for every Ford and Lincoln model for the current model year and the following model year as dates are announced.

The numbers showed by Forkmachine regarding the 2012 MY, are correct. We have not put out any number s for the 2013MY Mustangs yet, so I can’t verify those at this time. I do thank you for keeping everyone in the loop, Forkmachine.

I'm also interested in if the above schedule/order/build dates for 2013 are correct. I wish there was a spec sheet announced for regular gt as there is above for the boss.

There is, it's just that nobody has leaked it yet...
The dates are still correct as posted as of Friday. If anyone is looking for confirmation just ask your dealer to pull up the most recent Fleet Distribution News Bulletin and look at or around page 9.

Hi guys,
I think the order info for the 2013 might be like last year for the 2012. The info came out at the end of the year (Nov-Dec time). As soon as I get some info, I'll let you all know.
