Just a few favorites from the Detroit auto show this year. I was mildly disappointed with Ford having a million sq feet and only dedicating a few hundred to the mustangs but the shelby's on the lower floor made up for it even though their sales staff were borderline corpses. New corvette is sweet but shouldn't be hard to beat.

thanks yeah the after work crowd was steadily streaming in so most of them were rushed with my 2005 coolpix camera. so not the best quality but at least a few shots to get the idea.

 

I'll be posting pics when I go to the NY auto show in early April.

oh don't mind me, my brain is wired to play the "tvs 2011+ GT vs. pick your favorite more expensive fast car" game all the time. in my mind, the mustang always wins.

 

I dont know what to think of the new Vett, It might look good on the road but not in the pictures.

I think the back is a fail..

 

I'm with you on that. I went to the show yesterday and it's better in person but something is just off about that rear end.

 

I love/want the flared rear quarters from the Shelby and GT350.

Read the comments by Monte Doran, the chevy spokesman, and there's no way that's "minor" damage. The points made by the author are valid, and that is one screwed up vette.

 

It's the 'Camaro like' tail lights. Very first thing I notice about it.

 

Someone needs to tell their design team that Transformers is no longer en vogue...
