The date at the top is consistant, as far as I can tell. I believe it indicates the build week. The date on the very bottom will be the date you access the window sticker on line. I looked at mine today and the bottom date indicatates 5/11/2012 and I've had my car for 2 weeks.
My mistake, there are actually three dates total on window sticker.
One @ top Build week
One @ very bottom is date you access sticker on line.
What about one that is usually 5-10 days before the Build week date...
It's just above the on line date little to right. Example below sticker that says 4/25/12, @ top build week says 5/2/12.

The date on the top of my 2008 sticker is the day before the actual build date. Back then all the stickers were like this. Mine says 20080227 but the actual build date was 02/28/08.
I don't know if this practice continues into 2013, but one way to find out is for someone who has their build date and compare it to their sticker to see if it matches!

I posted this in the other 2013 thread but i might find someone in here that could help me out.
Can someone tell me if this sounds a little strange or is perfectly normal. Got an update on my car today and it said:
In Transit - Arrived at Intermediate Point (Norfolk Southern Corp ) Oakwood, MI May-15-2012, 03:15 ET.
I ran my gps on this place and its located 132 miles west of Flat Rock. I live in the northeast. Why does it seem to be going WAY out of the way in the opposite direction?
