It's ALOT louder. But also it has that deep throaty muscle car sound. I had roush on my previous gt but it was just to raspy. I encourage you to look up YouTube videos although they sound better in person.

That's not too bad. Remember, even having it by the end of January, doesn't make it faster, since they didn't start production until late February.

I'm going to do the same thing. Have you heard these in person on a 5.0? I've seen the You Tubes but it's hard to get a true representation from there, I'd imagine.

 

 

Yes I have. They are a lot deeper than the videos. S is in the middle. ATAK is the next step up but I compare those to roushes, too raspy. If you want loud and raspy go roush. If you want deep and not loud go GT500. If you want deep and loud, S-Type is the way to go!

did borla officially come out and say there will be no changes from 12 to 13 in the design?

No they didnt. Flowmaster unofficially did, ford officially did, via their frpp parts. Their exhausts now fit 11-13 GT's. Drivetrain is very much the same.

mine is supposed to be built two days before yours but has an eta a day after! Seems strange since my dealer is 30min from the plant

 

Just a question how much did you have to pay for destination and delivery when your so close to plant?

 

They drive the truck around his neighborhood for awhile to make up for it.

 

Well my 12 was a month late so I'm not holding my breath. On a side note though, once it left the factory I received it the following day.
