Hmmm, still no window sticker. I'm guessing my delivery ETA of 4.19 is out the window then.

 

Got my Window sticker last Thurs and car being built today. Hope it arrives on the 10th.

 

So what is their plan of attack to get the cars moving? Are some Boss' trickling out?

 

Ok. I will admit off the bat that I have no idea how the ordering system works so I've got a few questions. How late in the year can one order a vehicle as I'm wanting one in September-November? I'm thinking about getting a V6 Coupe in either Deep Impact Blue or Gotta Have It Green with the 102A Tech Package. I don't want the Premium. The problem is, I still owe too much on my current car and I'm planning on having more of it paid off by the end of the year but it would need to be a trade in. How does that work with custom ordered cars? What is the process for ordering, do I just go to a dealer and say, "Here's the codes for what I want, please don't try adding pinstripes." or what? Thank you all very much for any insight into how the system works.

 

Hey bud, you can definitely order a 2013 in September or October of this year. For your trade, when you order it, they will appraise it, and will give you a value based on when they will see the car arrive (usually 8 weeks to be safe). As for ordering the car, you basically got it right on the money. Take the codes you want for options and have them price it out. Better yet, send me a PM or post up your options you want and I can price it up later today.

I'm stepping out to get my taxes done but will be back in about 45 minutes (its quick for me). I can give you the price info so you know what they cost right now. Just be aware though, that Ford will most likely raise the prices a few times throughout the model year to cover rising costs in parts from their suppliers. So the price I give you today will not be the same price in October. The rough idea is about a $200-400 increase that late in the year, give or take. Hope this helps bud. Thank you very much for the reply. I guess I was mainly wanting to make sure I could order it later in the year. There are a few things I have to sort through in the coming months including a raise and of course, paying down some of what I owe on my POS Jetta. That thing depreciated FAST. Got it for 16,000 2 years ago, still owe 12,000, and it's only worth like 8,000 on trade-in. Ugh. I'm just wanting to get the Deep Impact Blue V6 Coupe with automatic and 102A Tech Package. That's about it. Not looking for too much, just stock other than the auto and Tech Package. Thanks again for your help.
