2013 Gt Track Pack Transmission Oil Change

I want to change the transmission oil with the hope it improves the shifting as I am experiencing high rpm lock out and issues finding the gear on spirited shifting. I have installed the whiteline transmission mount with not much of an improvement.

What oil does it require, how much and what brand is advised?

By spec, it requires Ford's dual clutch transmission fluid. Yes, that's correct even though it's not a dual clutch transmission-that changed when the TSB for these transmissions was issued a couple years ago. Last I checked, there wasn't an exact spec alternative from Redline or Royal Purple or any of the typical manufacturers. If you're having those problems, go have your dealer check it out before you do anything else since you're still under all the factory warranties. The whiteline mod you did isn't enough, if you really want to change the way it shifts - the MGW shifter is your answer.

A number of boss guys are using redline with good success. The car seems to have issues at high rpm with clutch disengagement and gear shifting. Personally I have my OEM redline of 6800 and I have no issues, but climb above that with aftermarket Tunes and it seems to make the transmission issues worse

Your answer is a MGW Race Spec Shifter & Aftermarket Hydraulic Clutch Line, I bought a Joe Heck SS Braided Clutch Line from Lethal Performance, All Shifting problems and clutch hang up disappear completely! The MGW Shifter allows you to adjust the horizontal shift gate, so your shifts are dead nuts on and smooth. The Joe Heck SS Clutch Line, has large orifices, whereas the factory line fittings are very restrictive! The MGW Shifter is expensive, but the Best! Go to there Website and look at the shifter and watch the install video!!!! Then you'll see why it's the best, MGW replaces the entire shifter, not just the handle part, it replaces every ford part! I had the same problems you noted at the Drag Strip or Spirited Street Driving - All Problems Solved - I also have the Whiteline Transmission Mount Insert - Hope this helps!
