I remember in my old '10 GT and my wifes current 2011 flex, that when you first turn the car on the guages "wave" or they travel completely to the right, then back completely to the left before settling to their proper reading.

My '14 does not do this. I was wondering if there was a setting for this feature that can be toggled?

 

Go into engineering mode then scroll through the options until a gauge test occurs and resets.

 

How do you get into Engineering Mode? Are there any other modes?

 

 

Thats neat. So its seams that the Test guage feature was always on in the earlier models ('10-12')??
