I know the front end has changed but has the actual size and shape of the grill changed from a 12 to the 13? Ordered a 13 V6 PP and would like to swap out the grill and put in a Boss grill when it arrives.

 

You probably could get the 2013 boss grille instead. It has the removable vents for better cooling, and yet it has the same look as the 2012.

 

Yep, why not... Put the 2013 Boss grille on your new 2013 PP V6.

Ford has done a pretty good job erasing the difference between the V6, GT, and Boss, as they should, so drop in the Boss grille to go with the PP V6 package.

The only truly incompatible grille is the '13 GT500 because, said in my best Richard Hammons voice, "it...well, it doesn't have one."

Lol. I agree. I dont like the 13 grille cause I feel like a poser with a gt500 kit on it. Like many say, they had it right 11-12... Didnt stop me from ordering one but still my 12 was one mucking sexy car

 

To answer your question... No 2012 grille will fit a 2013. The size and shape is completely different.

 

Yeah everyone felt like a poser back in 1971 when the Mustang front end was styled after the previous year Shelby GT500. NOT!
