2011 V6 Grille & GT/CS Grille.......Same??
#3
Yes, they are the same. MCA and CS are pretty much the same thing. One is on the 5.0 and the other on the 3.7 to differentiate between them. I'm sure some 5.0 people would be less keen on that package if V6 people had the same package.

this is a VERY good question------
Im am ready to order a GT/CS Vert fully loaded, BUT i dont wanna be driving around town and people that are not "educated" enough, and think im rolling by in a V6---
WHY CANT FORD MAKE IT CLEAR TO THE PUBLIC AND SAY "HEY THIS IS NO V6, THIS IS NO REGULAR GT, THIS IS THE CALIFORNIA SPECIAL!!!!"
Got me thinking going to a GT Vert without the CS strim.....either Black or Race red----
Here is the question------
Will there be many CS/V6 grilles all over the place? my guess is everywhere you look your gonna see that 5.0 badge
food for thought

It's NOT the "STD. V6" Grill, it is the "MCA Pkg" grill. Also, according to the Order Guide, the GT/CS Grill is suposed to be a Bright Chrome finish where the MCA is a Dark Stainless Painted finish. However from all the pictures of pre-production cars, the grills look the same to me.
I'm sure there will be quite a few MCA's out there (many TMS members including myself have ordered this pkg), but there will also be a similar amount of Pony Pkg. V6's with it's unique '67 style grill and then of course even more base model std. grills ... both of which are carry-overs from 2010.
All of the pre-production Show Car 2011 V6's were MCA versions, as were many of the media test cars ... I'd guess that only 20-30% of all 2011 V6's will end up being MCA editions with this similar to GT/CS grill.
Personally, I'm thinking of painting my grill SATIN BLACK so it looks more like a '70 grill.
