"Close enough" what? I don't recall using the words false advertising next to each other. Just because someone uses three words marketing, advertising and false in the same sentence does not mean they said false advertising.
Its marketing, advertisement and gives a FALSE sense of what the vehicle is capable of doing. There is a difference my friend. That's not the same as false advertising. In your mind it reads false advertisement. In reality, that's not what was written or said. Your like my 7 year old daughter. You hear what you want to hear.

Can we talk about ******* now? Its about the only thing we haven't discussed yet in this thread about drive shafts.

You give me way too much credit, I have no feelings. You've obviously mistaken me for someone who gives a ****.

My question is, MODS, why haven't you CLOSED THIS THREAD yet? Honestly... please don't give this OP any more attention or credit that is decidedly UNdeserved. He claims he is "debating".... but when you debate with someone who clearly has NO idea what he's talking about, is truly like arguing against someone who thinks the earth is flat.
Again, what a waste of time.
Pathetic.

But I was just trying to save fellow "sane" TMSers from falling into the pit of this thread...i.e. the pit of uselessness.
So to recap the past 14 pages, the drive shaft of the V6 is not tuned for speed, more economy. There isn't any advertising on the top speed of the V6, but we do have an awesome speedo that goes up to 160mph. Most importantly, I love my convertible.
It's like the SVO. Yes, you can make a 4 or 6 cylinder fast, but tons of other things will need to be upgraded to justify and handle the speed.
As for the. 3.7 vs 4.6 you can spend $200 on a 4.6 and safely have 400 horsepower. V6 isn't that way. Kind of "tapped out" already.
