Wash the car with Dawn, or at least the area where the stripes go then clean the area you are putting the stripes on with Rubbing Alcohol to remove the wax. You want them right on the paint, a layer of wax or or anything else would take away their adhesion.
Wish I had better pictures at the moment. But you have to go with flat black!
Looks good and I need to see a pic of the rear and how the stripes flow with the third brake light and license plate panel. I was thinking super snake stripe but I do like yours since it looks more proportional.
Too late for this response... but, simplicity and theme is best. Since you had matte black emblems in the rear and sides, plus black wheels, matte black stripes (like Dynamic's) would have been best.
I went with the red. Having red interior and having seen red RTR stripes on another sterling grey GT made my pretty comfortable with it. I think I like it.
Late to the party, but I've seen a '15 dark grey (whatever that color name is) that had black stripes with a skinny red border... and it changes the look entirely. Not generally a fan of the matte black stripes, but the little bit of red looks good.
Nice choice- the red looks good! Back in the 60s, the rocker stripes Ford put on the Mustang GT were matched to the interior color, so you are following a good tradition!
I toyed with red stripes on my Sterling Gray '14 (which also has a red interior) before chickening out and going with silver.
