Looking for information about changing headlights with multicolor LED has anyone done this yet. If so did he do it yourself or did you buy them and information on price and website will be helpful.

 

Multicolor LED head lights are illegal in all states. Only emergency vehicles are allowed to use them on the street. You can do them but only for shows and won't pass inspection in states that require them

 

I would be interested if anyone has experience with them too.

 

I've seen them on Diode Dynamics website and think they're pretty cool. They also make them as sequential blinkers.

 

The Diode Dynamics kit is for the gill lights not the head lights. Making the flash sequentially as part of the turn signals is pretty cool, don't care about them changing colors.

You need optional components to use these as turn signals. You also need a controller to change the colors. They sell a wireless one. I have the same controller for LEDs around my TV so don't know if I can use it or need to buy another one. They aren't expensive though.
