2011 production stop, 2012 start
I was wrong...I previously stated two days ago I had ordered a 2011. My salesman called me this morning and told me the 2011 I had ordered will be a 2012. More proof for you guys. And yes, my salesperson is clueless.
Can anyone give me any info on the dealer installed environmental package and security package? My dealershop cannot, even though they install them on every **** car. So, in a nutshell, a Mustang comes from the factory with passive anti theft, then you can option a security package including wheel locks, THEN the dealer installs ANOTHER security package...WTF

It's up to you, personally I refuse any and all add-ons unless I specifically ask for it. The only add-on I got was my dealer's price for a LineX spray-on bedliner for my truck (Excellent product.)
Tell him if he can't tell you what it is, then you don't want it. And tell him that if it's on the invoice when you pick up the car he'll either include it for free or they can keep the car.
Hell, I don't even let them put on dealership badges or license plate covers; my dealer is great but I tell them I advertise by word of mouth by how they treat me.

Haha Yup, I make them even take off the dealer decals with a razor blade before I leave with a new vehicle. I ask them if they will pay ME to advertise for them, but the answer has always been no!!
If someone can get me info on those options I might actually want them (for example if the environmental pkg includes undercoat or somehting useful). Unitl then, they can forget it.

If he can't tell you what it is then believe me, you don't want to pay for it.
But if you're interested you can PayPal me $500 and I'll give your car a Special OAC_Sparky Online Blessing. It's good for the environment too.

So, keeping that in mind, the sooner you get into the dealer the better selection you will have as the '11s sell ooff. If you aren't as picky about what you want, you may want to hold off because the incentives will get better the longer you wait. You will have to be the one to decide where you sit selection vs incentives.
But IF you want a specific set of options that are less common, ie. backup camera, electronics package, performance packs, glass roof etc. and you really NEED to order it from the factory, they still can; but it will be a 2012 they will be ordering and because it is a newer moder the incentives also won't be as good.

As for the side and hood scoops, you can get the side scoops as part of an accessory package but not the hood scoop. That would have to be ordered, painted and installed by the dealer, it can't be at the factory.

Yes, Stirling Grey is out, Lava Red is in. It's like a very very dark almost black red/burgandy.
I know, I like red but why 3 reds and no grey (unless you count silver) doesn't make sense to me either.
Not my decision.
With the Lava Red you can order Plum seat inserts.

But yeah, reds great n all but not so many

It's just $26,766 after the public rebates and our discount are taken.
There you go. And keep in mind that the hood/side scoops would be a dealer/bodyshop installed option anyways, you could arrange to have it done at Brians dealership or your own back home. (Although the sides would screw up your side stripes.)

Sparky, whats included in your special "online blessing" package? I might take you up on that one...I'm all about saving the environment

His profile says "Pacific NW" so I'm thinking Washington (the state) or Oregon.
