I'll be doing the smoked corner lenses. Subtle, but a clean look, especially on dark colored cars.

I thought on the HID models the bulb was amber and the housing was clear reflective? Might need to look again for myself. I know on the standard halogen housings they have the orange finisher in them.

Yea, either way I'm pumped to try them out- and I do use them quite a bit.

And I stand corrected. You're right the HID's reflect the orange bulb. So a chrome bulb might be the way to go.

Knowing this I'll probably want to pick up a set some time this month...

EDIT: but would it need a load resistor to prevent the hyper flash?
It's a 3157 wedge base bulb.

Something like this maybe?

No, another incandescent bulb won't need a load resistor.

Gotcha, and with that I just went to go see how difficult it would be to reach these...

They're both fairly easy- they're in the far front on each corner (obviously). The passenger you just have to finagle it out amongst the other wiring's, the drivers side I'll probably have to take off the CAI as there's no way to squeeze a hand in there... Overall maybe 5-10 min to put in.

So, I'll def pick up a set. I'll just do some research as to the ones with a good rep.
