2011 Mustang Side Blinker replacements?

Hello all, not sure if they make them yet, or if they do, who'd I'd get them from, but I'd like to change out my orange front side blinker assembly to red ones (to match the red rear reflectors) but have no idea where I'd go to get them.
I've done a search but I don't seem to be able to find ones for the 2011 and I don't really want to have to put red overlays onto the orange blinker assembly (that might work, but will probably just give it a orangish-red look and not fully red).

Any ideas of where I could get these?

Thanks

I may be wrong, but I'm fairly sure front turn signals must legally be amber. Only the rear is allowed to be red, and that's only in North America... in most of the world all the turn signals have to be amber.

edit: if you want them to match, you might have better luck changing the rear to amber

They used to have 2010+ side blinker lenses on eBay.

Yeah, I know, but it's something that is so minor doubtful any police officer is going to waste his time giving you a ticket because your blinker is red. Plus if I see a police officer around me, I just wouldn't use the blinker so it wouldn't catch his eye.
It would probably be as important to a police officer as giving you a front window tint ticket (as long as the front window tint is not limo dark, they don't really care.)
I also don't put on or drill my front license plate, I know all these could be ticketed if a cop was really ticked off and wanted to just be a moron. But they are all fix it tickets anyway. I'd just pay the fine and move on.

It just looks cleaner to have the front red as well as the rear, and it accents the red lettering on the Brembo brakes as well as the red dot in the 5.0

Oh and thanks Adam, I'll check ebay. BTW, are the 2010 and 2011 GT front side blinkers the same?

American Muscle has the smoked lenses and the vinyl overlays for front and rear corner lenses if you like it.

turn signal colors vary from state to state, in Connecticut the front turn signal lamps must be emit white or amber light, any shade of light between white and amber.

The rear turn signal shall emit a red or amber light, or any shade of color between red and amber.

Makes sense, because red usually is braking and shouldnt have that up front, and in the back, white usually means reverse/backing up or someone coming at you. On my motorcycle I have white rear turn signals to be seen!

You guys realize that those front ambers don't "blink".
Just the ones in the headlights do...
They're not like the 05-09

Yes, but I also made the assumption that he was talking about the small running lamps on front and rear.

If you're actually talking about the ones inside the headlamps, Hoen makes the chrome dipped bulbs to not reflect an odd color in the housing:

Yea that's what I'm saying- they're not o much a blinker as they are just parking/running lamps... I gotcha.

hmm, well the housings themselves are orange/amber... so wouldn't a chrome bulb sorta defeat the purpose? The use in a clear aspect such as that in that 911 makes sense tho.

Also... FYI I just ordered me a set of those Hoen H10's for the Fogs... I think you hyped them up enough to sway me- I hope they don't disappoint!

You'll like them Tony, even if you don't use them other than for looks, they actually make the car look cleaner.

I thought on the HID models the bulb was amber and the housing was clear reflective? Might need to look again for myself. I know on the standard halogen housings they have the orange finisher in them.

I'm pretty sure he is talking about the side running lights, in which case i'd just tint them out. Would look good on the gray. I'm about to do it with mine.

Just buy a strip of tint, cut to shape, use a credit card to get it in the edges. Carefully clean up the edges with a blade (and a steady hand!!) $10

Yeah, I'm talking about the side "running" or "parking" lights.
Sorry I thought they blinked too.

I've considered tinting them too, but think swapping them out for red housing would look nice too. As I stated it compliments the rear red ones as well as the red in the Brembo writing on the brake calipers and the red dot in the 5.0

Just don't know where to get a red replacement housing for those front "running" lights.
If I can't find them I may look for a red overlay. But I don't think it will look as clean nor as red.

I may be very wrong but I doubt you will ever find anyone that ready makes a red front parking lamp. You may have to get clear ones and then have them tinted red if that is really what you want.

Having them on all of the time is really going to draw a ton of attention too. Something you may not want.

This guy http://jonstintedtails.com might be able to tint them red for you.

That's a good point, not sure I want them on all the time. Maybe I could just remove the light bulb and use a nice red reflector cover overlay so it'll have the red look but not emit red light, but still be visible because of the red reflective quality.

I'm thinking about doing it this way, with the smoked lenses.
Should look good on a Sterling Grey, and won't have to worry about vinyl peeling off or not going on properly.

I can't tell you all the times I was stopped in California for lights, and not just blue light either, I was stopped for having a red light on the rear side of a sleeper, it was not within 3 foot of the rear of the vehicle. Mind you they do watch commercial vehicle more, but the stupid laws in California was one of the reasons I moved out 16 years ago.

Red lights on the front are illegal in every state, not just California (except for police and emergency vehicles of course).

I think your premise that they will match the rear side marker lights is incorrect. It will stand out rather than blend in because people aren't used to seeing red lights at both ends of a car.

This is what i've been looking for. During the day it will look stealthy, but since the bulbs emit an amber light iirc, it meets legal requirements at night.
