2011 Mustang owners
It seems like there is one thread missing, and it is this one. As owners receive their new Mustangs, I would like to hear about & see their experiences. I will be picking mine up tomorrow morning at 8 am EST. Pictures will be forthcoming as it will be raining and crappy for the next few days. But, I will post my review tomorrow.

Had mine for a week now. There are pics in my profile. Loving it, fast, it's been raining like crazy all morning, boy did that make the drive in fun
Can't say anything bad about it, except I had to take it in for a quick service call, the factory forgot to connect the power point in the console.
FAST, nimble and extremely fun to drive!!!!

A couple of words come to mind. Phenominal, Stunning, Solid, Smooth. I only drove it about 15 miles from where I picked it up to work. But I must say I am very impressed. We recently picked up a 2010 Taurus (which I am also very impressed by) and I told my wife this morning that I am equally impressed by the Mustang. My last Mustang was an 89 LX Hatch 5.0, so I was expecting a pretty base car. But it is very solid and tight, nice fit and finish. I did not stand on it all (raining cats and dogs, rush hour traffic, unfamilar car) but it just wants to go go go... I love the convex mirrors. That has been a gripe of mine for years. All cars should have them. I don't have to crane my neck anymore to see if someone is on the left of me. The egress and ingress is great, no blind spots, and very roomy seating position (I am 6'1" 245).

Somebody should start a 2011 Mustang Owners Registry.
I know universal registries exist, sorted by color, and that's fine.
But it would be interesting, at least for the next year or two, to have a separate registry just for 2011 owners.

You lucky dog NIHL. Yesterday I had to race home from work (55 miles) horrendous traffic, because they were predicting hail and tornados. To top it off, the garage had a bunch of saws and things that need to be broke down and moved. Today 45 MPH winds and more rain.
Regardless, love the car!!! and yours too.....

NIHL, good luck to you. Snow in Northern MI. today. I still am impressed by the ride quality and quietness of the car. It really doesn't Bark until you get into it a bit. I have no idea what it sounds like outside when you are gettin it... I am a little disappointed with the shifting. It feels notchy to me. Having said that, it has been 20 years since I was power shifting the 89'. I am sure that in a week I will be fully at home with her. 1st gear IS short. I mostly start out in 2nd, then 4th, then 6th. I got a little sideways yesterday, and the wife was not impressed, dunno:. I had a chubby!!! It feels really odd to me how long the power range is. For whatever reason, I want to short shift. The reality is, you really need to run this car hard to feel the beast. She really comes on about 5,000 RPM, which is where I want to shift.. Time my friend... Time... (speaking to myself)
