FYI was trapping higher than an 2005 Vette who was running 2.0 60 foot at a 13.06 105 qtr mile. I will be practing as well.

I just had to laugh because this guy had a big head on his shoulders and kept talking **** to everyone about his "sicc fast" ride lol. So that is why we got some of his runs on video because we thought it was hilarious that he was running 14's and some 13's

No worries, we've all been there. The best 60 I ever cut on my Goodyear's was a 2.17...before the Whipple. After the Whipple and MT drag radials...1.7's. 1.7's are pedestrian but I'll take them. Get some DR's and practice, practice, practice! You'll have to experiment with tire pressure, launch rpm, clutch modulation, etc...no pressure though!

No different than 05-10's. Even though great drivers were getting mid 13's the average driver was pushing mid 14's to close to 15. So we shall see a lot of mid to upper 13's with these cars and the average driver. Like to see more auto times to see how consistent they can run.

Yea, you're pretty bad bro lol

just messing with you though, some more practice and you will be ok
How are you launching? just dropping the clutch at 2300rpms?
You should try slipping the clutch, I leave at 4500rpm slipping the clutch on street tires, with a nice small chirp.

I need to get the slipping down- I only had 4 passes and was probably anxious!!!

IMO, trap speed matters. If he runs 15's all day but traps 110, its good. But 15's with a 103 trap might be suspect.
