2011 Ford Mustang GT 500 Front Lower control arms

I have a 2011 Ford Mustang GT and I am wanting to upgrade my front suspension and I was looking for the Ford performance GT500 lower control arms but the only ones I see are for the 2005 through 2009 models. So I wanted to ask any of you guys if you know where I may be able to purchase a set? And if not what would be a good brand to replace them with because I think I read that on the GT 500 ones from Ford performance, you can replace the ball joints in those? I would like to have that option. Thank you.

@DriBilly1

Here is What FRPP Offers in The PDF. Shows Removable Ball Joint. M-3075-RA

Install & Related Info

https://www.svtperformance.com/threa...ation.1142106/

As Far As Factory Ford the 2011-2013 Cars Have All Superceded to The CR3Z-3078-D & CR3Z-3079-D. Now the 2014 Lists the Same For Gt & Base CR3Z as Well and ER3Z-3078-A & ER3Z-3079-A For 2014 GT-500. I Would Surmise They Would be An Upgrade But Do Not Know if Anything Else is Changed That Would Prohibit Install on 2011.

Hope This Is HelpFul!

If Anyone Has Personal Experience With These Parts Chime In. RetroFit with OEM Parts Was My Specialty Back in The Day. But I no Longer Have Factory Cataloging & Have Been out of the Loop For Quite awhile So Be Advised!

Also Be Advised in Some Instances FRPP Simply Put There Part Numbers on OEM Parts and Sold Them as Well. Not Always But Sometimes. Just an FYI.

2011 EPAS where sensitive to any stiffer bushings. So be sure any change can cause problems. After 2011 and sometime in 2012 heat shields where installed to protect from the heat of the cats. I installed the shields on my 2011 and have no problems from noisy bushings.

For the price of the control arms versus the labor to switch ball joints, I think you're better off buying the entire control arm with the ball joints (and bushings) already in it. I'm pretty sure the GT500 ones CAN be pressed in and out, just like the regular GT ones. You should not need to replace the ball joints more than once, or at max twice, in the life of the car. I believe some aftermarket control arms use threaded ball joints, but not sure.

Be aware the size of the ball joint shaft changed in mid-2010 model year, with the later cars getting larger ball joint shaft, which requires a bigger hole in the spindle. I think the GT500 used the larger ones from 2007 forward, which means they should fit fine in your 2011 car, but I would check that before buying them.
