Ok I'm trying to calculate invoice on my car.
....................MSRP.......Invoice
GTPremium -> 32,845.....30,265
CS.................1,995.......1,995?
Glass Roof.......1,995.......1,995?
3.73.................395..........344
Security............395..........344
Destination 850 both.
...................38,525......35,793
So I should shoot for 36,293 at 500 above invoice.
Using 36,000 as a bargaining point.

Definitely a reasonable approach. And if they pull out the white sheet with four quandrants... cross out 1, 2, and 3 and just put "$36,000" in the 4th one or walk. Don't forget the $850 delivery and whatever processing fee they have. And taxes, title, registration, etc. Taxes will kill ya.

In Texas I thought they were offering 1.9% for 60 but I guess that was on the 2010 I was looking at.
This is the current financing incentives in Texas:
APR Financing
0.0% for 36 months
3.9% for 48 months
4.9% for 60 months
6.9% for 72 months

Do you have Costco? AAA? They have car buying services that can negotiate the best price too.
You're not in this alone. You don't have to be the poster child for their next sales meeting. ;-)

Yeah I guess I've built up this car to a dream state. I had kinda given up on trying to save money because I really am kinda under the gun for getting it on time before summer. Its hard to let go.

Let it go if you have to to get the deal, there will be a bunch of GT's on dealer lots by the end of the month or first of next month.

Well OK you guys win. Holy crap I called up a local Ford dealership to get a competitive price. They offered 35,500 before taxes. that would be a 3 grand savings, well worth a new order and a month or so wait.

Geez bud, don't give up on the first one until you try to negotiate the price down.

Oh I haven't given up on the first dealership already. It's just now I have a reason to walk away. With this new found savings and freedom from attachment I can go back to the first like Ltngdrvr and treygil said and get the price of my baby down. That's the plan.
