The RTR cars that I saw had Forgestar wheels on them, they can be had for around $1400, but the cars now have HRE P40's, these are much more expensive and they run around $4500 for the set.

Those are HRE P40's they run about $4500 a set, you can get something very similar with the Forgestars and they only run about $1400 a set. The first RTR cars I saw had the Forgestars, but now they have the much more expensive HRE's.

A pic with the HRE center cap still on..

The Forgestars are light at around 22lbs for the front and 24lbs for the rear in a 19X9 and 19X10 setup. They aren't forged but they are flow formed which is close to the strength of a forged wheel but still very light.

Here they are on a 997S in titanium.

The wheels for the package will not be the $4,500 HRE's

Like I said when Vaughn tells me I can publically talk about it I will.

p.s. you also showed 2 different wheel styles in you post that first wheel is a different style.

I just blow up the font because some members (not yourself) never read the thread fully and would go on and on about how $4,500 is waaaaaay to much for mustang wheels etc. I dunno what it is about this 2010+ section but not a lot of readers in here

Nothing personal.

by any chance do you know if the car you pictured is using the size tire you will run, 275/40/19?

another couple questions if you don't mind and can say, what is the offset of the wheels you're getting and what is the offset, if you know, of the wheels that come with the Brembo pkg?

anybody that knows the offset of the Ford wheels, please chime in
thank you

Although I'd like to do some nicer wheels for summer duty, I will also need to find a set of wheels, hopefully 18", that clear the Brembo calipers for winter tire duty. I will be daily driving the GT.

For winter wheels? I don't want to do that. I'll probably just get a set from Tire Rack and do a winter package. They're pretty good for setting things up based on brake clearance and offset. We've got a lot of time between now and this winter, so I'm sure there will be plenty of guys trying wheels on Brembo calipers.

If I found a set cheap enough, I'd consider it. I like the 2010 GT500 wheels as an alternative for the RTR ones, preferably the PP ones, but it's still early.

Nah, gotta part my car out first before I focus on the GT. I'm sure there will still be some around soon enough.

I thought there was a website that sold 07-09 GT500 wheels for a pretty good price.
