2010's Disappearing fast from dealers lot
Just drove by me local dealer on the way home they have five 2010's on the lot and one in the show room. Four are GT's.
They had at least a dozen or more at the begin of this past week.

Some were probably transferred to another dealer unless they were doing near giveaway pricing, otherwise I doubt anyone is selling 6 or more 2010's a week right now.

They are moving them around to faster selling dealers. One week my dealer (very large) will have 55 2010 Mustangs, then the next week will have 37 2010 Mustangs. I just checked and this week they have 43 2010 Mustangs.

I work in sales- we're usually complaining that our manager cuts prices to low to get his numbers right. I've almost always found that the managers want to slash prices to boost quantity rather than maximize each sale at the risk of losing business. Hard to understand some times, but it's good tactics when needed.

Before deciding on the Mustang a month ago, one of the cars I was cross-shopping was the 370Z (I was looking to ****** up a leftover '10)... A local dealer had five '10s left and SEVEN(!) '09s...
What's even funnier is that the salesman was still being a ballbreaker over the price, as if we were negotiating on a 2011 or something

cars.com has these numbers of new Mustangs listed as available today...
2011 (796)
2010 (7090)
2009 (218)
2008 (176)
2007 (24)
And I'm pretty sure this is a very incomplete listing.

That's what I love about you big guy..."tell it like it is". I know some people get bent out of shape due to your direct no non-sense approach but I for one relish it. I agree, that car should have been fire-sold a year ago.
