2010 Stock GT Dyno Numbers

At the Steeda Stampede (17-OCT-2009), I got two runs on their dyno with my stock 2010 Mustang GT with the 3.73:1 rear axle. It was 87 F and really humid, but she still turned 269 hp and 285 ftxlb at the rear wheels.

Any one else have dyno numbers yet on a 2010 Mustang GT with a stock engine?

Pretty much right on the money depending what driveline loss you account for.

Has anyone done a dyno comparison of regular and premium fuel yet? I would like to see if there is more peak power, or just a broader torque curve. I feel like this should be old news but I can't remeber seeing anything posted yet.

this youtube clip
Shows 3 pulls the numbers show at the 3:45 mark. But for ease they read
1.) 274 hp 288 tq
2.) 278 hp 291 tq
3.) 276 hp 288 tq

This clip has the stock GT come in at 276 hp and 304 tq.

Meanwhile this one puts down 280hp and 281 tq

Not sure on the fuel used in any of these. But seems to be stable around 275-285hp stock (depending on the Dyno used).

We typically see numbers around 270 with our weather. Just too hot and humid down here most of the year to get much higher numbers....

Glad you were able to make it to the stampede. We put together a cool video of the event. Everyone can check it out here:

Hey Gus let me just say CONGRATS on the Steeda Q front valance. I think its the best looking aftermarket front end

I plan on getting one for my 2011. Any ideas on pricing yet?

Thanks! Dont have pricing yet. The piece on the car is the only prototype around.

It will probably be next month before I have any kind of idea on pricing.

I love the new Q styling too...plan to start modding mine with a supercharger, exhaust, and at least the front fascia and Street Wing as soon as the body parts are available.

Gus- Can you estimate when that will be?

Change of Plans

Had to pull the trigger on spending the money last month before it was "reappropriated", so I ended up with the Roush bumper cover. Oh, well...in a few years when it's road weary I can swap it out for the Steeda piece.
