telling me that he is getting a 2011 GT for a week long test in aug, (writes a blog or something, gets a new car EVERY week) and wants to do a shoot with my car (if it gets here ) and the test car..

anywho (yes i know the spelling) he told me the VIN 1ZVBP8CFXB5100208

looks like a PRE production.. am i correct?
cant find a sticker..

It doesn't look like pre production, just a test car. Still cool to see, though.

 

It's production, you can tell by the sequence number: 100208. Pre-production cars start with a 0. It is however an extremely early production car. I approve of its list of options.

 

i thought pre-prod. had an X in the check digit. instead of 1-9

also wondering if it was one of the test cars in cali..
