I installed the SR Performance Short throw from AM this morning following the instructions to the “T” and when I brought the car down and went to check it from the inside, it’s so hard to shift in and out of gears, neutral is where the row of 1/3/5 should be so I can’t even put it into those gears and 2/4/R is where neutral should be. There’s also ton of play in the gears. I will say when I first got the new kit the shifter was turned 90 degrees to the side and so I had to put it in a vice and rotate it straight how it’s supposed to be. Idk if it’s a manufacture error or what I can do to fix it besides getting a replacement one. Anybody dealt with this before or any ideas?
