2010 Pricing finally starting to tank...
I know some on here have already reported on 2010 Mustang pricing dropping at the dealers near them but it seems to have taken longer around here(southeast Texas).
One dealer in Houston that has quite a few GT's left has come off about $5K from sticker on Premium models they have left in stock.
Really starting to hustle trying to get rid of them now.
There are HUNDREDS of 2010 V6 cars left on the lots around here, they are really going to have to discount and push those elephants to get rid of them.
The 2010 base GT that I drove a couple of weeks back is still on the lot, really wish I was ready to buy, think I could really get it at a good price now.

The dealerships around me are asking for around MSRP still. I wish I lived near you m4reapr lol. Those prices are awsome.
I'm getting an eprice quote, I want to see if they say something low like that.

Just tell them how much you are willing to pay and remind them that they will soon have a very hard time getting rid of them.

I'm waiting for a real good price too . . . since I'm comparing to the 2011 V6 it will have to be real cheap, like $7-8K off sticker . . . I think they might get there within the next month or so, we'll see . .. there are not a lot of them around here, but there are a few . . . right now Ford is giving $3,000 rebate or $1,000 and 0%/60 financing . . . that is not good enough to make me pull the trigger, but it's getting close.
m4reapr, thanks for the tip about Apple Ford . . . unfortunately their real price is about $1,000 higher than the advertised price because they don't include the destination charge and various other "fees" in the advertised price.

I just got my E price from my local dealer. The MSRP on the car was $33,730 they came back to me with $32,604. My area isn't dropping the prices, I hope they do, but it doesn't appear to be to soon. It also had the 2k cash back or 0% for 60 months like the above post said. Or 1.9% 72 months and $1000 cash back.

If you really are serious about that car I would say to offer them $5k below sticker and be ready to walk away if they don't make the price. A good salesman knows when you are hooked and will not let you get away without paying their price.
There are ALWAYS other cars available somewhere else.
Remember, they need to sell it a lot more than you need to buy it!

You're better off going to the dealership to get the price, make sure they know you are serious, even if you really aren't.

I'm planning to put my order in in October for the 2011, if I see a 2010 GT premium for like 25k or in that area a little before that time frame, i'll definetly take it. I will be keeping and eye out thats for sure.

For those who are thinking that dealers are going to start giving those cars away......Thnk again.....the 2010 GT cars are nice machines that are still a great performance value and greedy dealers will never just give them away.

I'm working with Jeff on an '11, but took the tour of the local dealerships, trying out different color combos, interior/exterior options. The dealers near me are NOT dealing AT ALL on the GTs. The one dealer went so far as to put their GTs into "storage" for the winter. But then again, this is the same dealership that told me if they could lock me in as a customer, they'd allow me to take a test drive of the GT.

unless somebody is really hooked on the V8 sound, I don't know why they would pay more for a 2010 GT than a 2011 V6 . . . I for one definitely will not

Nice deals on new 2010's right now in the Seattle area. Click here. Fly up here and drive a new 2010 Mustang GT home. $6K to $7K off MSRP on GT's...

that stinks for you. there are lots to go around here. i even seen some leftover 2009s around here.
i do however have my eye on a white 2010 premium vert with saddle. it has a sticker of like 38 and some change. it would be nice to get her around 30 but i dont see that happening. a new vert is just out of the range im willing to spend. i think unless i can find a non premium manual vert. i would buy in a heart beat.

Really don't want a torch red car though...
That's almost enough to make me change my color choice, if it was one of the Blue's or Black...

Hey John, just remember, the prices at one dealership may be different at another due to the incentives. All rebates are based on where the car will be registered. Just a heads up.

That red base GT has california emissions, do all the cars in Wa. come that way?
What's the difference in cali. emission equipment, thought it was all pretty much the same anymore?
