I just went to the dealership today and i asked about the Supercharger dealer add on and they had no idea of prices for 2010. Whats going on? Should i just order my Kona Blue and wait for it to come in for them to add on the supercharger? Or maybe look into just getting a different set up?

 

My goodness! Whatever floats someones boat! I mean, if I had plenty of extras, I would be shipping it out for free to people, who wanted them.

Hey bud, that should have said "Security Package", but in my excitement, I typed it out wrong.

As for the V8 Upfitter Package? I'm guessing its for the 5.0 for 2011. Either that, or something Shelby has in store for the car? I can't say for certain yet.

Sometimes Ford puts info in CONCEPTS order screen un-beknownst to them, as its all a computer program to update the system for the dealers. We'll find out sooner or later (My bet is later though).

 

I should stop by the local dealer and see if they have 'em, too...

 

I read in some thread on here that the track pack is not available with the glassroof option. If this is true, can anyone explain why?

 

Don't know if it's been posted in here or not, but the 54U Upfitters Package is what gets sent to Shelby, Saleen, or Roush for modification.

 

it is true yes the reason being is ford prob doesnt trust all the multiplication of torque from the gears, may break the roof lol.

wow so the glass roof can only handle so much torque? I wonder if there are any '05-'09 glass roof owners with mods who have problems with the roof....

 

I personally think the glass is strong enough for the power. Heck, the owner of Stangnet.com added a glass roof to his GT500, as did the editor of MM&FF. So that shouldn't be an issue. The glass is thicker than the steel that is up there normally.

I think its Ford's way of getting out of any "issues" down the line with liability and such. Just a shot in the dark.

 

That package doesn't have a description yet for 2010. The code is just in the Ford CONCEPTS order system, waiting for the day they "may" use it. I think its going to be the code for something good though. You know, Ford & Shelby have extended their contract and once the KRs and SS coversions are done, they need work. Another Shelby GT-esque Special Edition anyone?
