This looks extremely good. Great job on the orange paint! This is the way the lower valance should look. Even darkening the taillamps makes them look less offensive... It's amazing how two changes like this makes it look so much better. Now if Ford can do the same thing they did with the focus and make last minute changes before going into production.
I really don't find the 2010 colors attractive...

Getting rid of those stupid dual white backup lamps does wonders... I just now realized how much the white vertical backup lamps visually make the lamps look taller than they really are. There is too much visual focus on the back up lamp sections themselves whichafter decades have always been an unwelcome but required clutter ruining good clean design. The taillamps certainly look better in this chop with the defined black vertical seperations. In this day of compact LED technology why do we even need large white backup lamps when a couple of small clear LED's positioned at the very bottom of one or all lamp sections will do the job.

Like some of the chops Ford should have made that black plastic smaller and made the lights straight across with body color inbetween each section to make it look like 3 different lights. Can anyone do a chop with the white in the lights the color of the car?

ok, so here's a question. what if someone could modify the rear and take out the little dip (what i call it) in the rear tail lights and create a tail light that is straight on the bottom with an insert to "fill in the gap" on the lower part? keeping the same tail light configuration, with the 3 lights and the white in between. would this create peace and harmony to everyone? of course this would all be one unit, so you would buy a left and right one. that way you would have the concave look for the trunk and still have the retangular look in the lights? what do you think??

It depends on the angle and lighting. In pictures like tht, it doesn't look that bad. But with direct sunlight on the back, and at more of an angle, they look absolutely terrible.

I love the shape of the taillights, and I liked having the clear backup/turn lights inside them; they reminded me of the chrome-bezel look of the original Mustangs. But having said that.... HOLY FREAKIN' COW, tinting those clear lights makes a HUGE difference. That would definitely be the first thing I'd do to a 2010. I like the rear fascia treatments you guys are coming up with as well.
