2010 Mustang Website Updated.

The 2010 Mustang website has been updated. The video is now extended and broken down into 4 Segments, of which the Exterior and Interior segments have Designer Commentary available.

The first is the Original video released in September consisting of the Burnout, and 360 degree view, but now with comments by exterior designer Doug Gaffka available.

The second segment of the video starts with another Burnout, and an extended drive sequence including an in car segment, ending with the car parked with a clear rear 3/4 view of the car and roof, allowing you to choose Roof Options, either Glass, Hardtop, or Convertible, with the option of top up or top down.

The third and last segment zooms in to view the interior through the drivers door window, toward the gauges, continuing through the upper section of the steering wheel, around the spokes, looking down at the center console and shifter, continues around looking back down the console between the front seats, on around to look up at the drivers seat with a view through the glass roof, then it pans around to a full view of the dash, continues back between the front seats giving you a view of the back seat, and exiting through the drivers side quarter window. The designer commentary is by Robert Gillardi, Senior Interior Designer for the 2010 Mustang. It's a pretty trick bit of video. Also at this point you click and drag the interior through the same sweep as the video with the option of changing the Interior from Charcoal to Saddle as well.

The fourth segment starts with the car pealing out and driving along, viewed from the driver side, and finally ending up with a view of the Grill and Pony. Once the video ends it gives you the options of playing the video segments again, get updates or, gallery. The gallery has also added a new screen saver download, as well as 4 new wallpaper downloads.

Check it out for your self, and have some fun playing with the new features!

Nice find, TB. Just wish they had the interior in the red!

Have you seen these you tube videos where designer Robert Gelardi takes you around the interior and exterior of the car?

Also one with chief engineer Paul Randle and chief designer Doug Gaffka:

Yeah I saw both of those videos. I love to hear what the designers were thinking, and explaining various things they incorporated and why. I still want to see some of the other design options they were working on for the 2010. I've always enjoyed the What If's.

Something I just noticed playing with the Top Configurator, when you switch from Hardtop to Convertible, the Hips on the Coupe are Taller and More Pronounced than the Hips on the Convertible. I've been suspicious of this since seeing the first pic's but this just confirmed it. Go to the website and check it out. I don't know how to make a transitioning video or I would, but here's a couple of Screen Captures.

I noticed that too. I figured it true a long time ago, but like you said, this pretty much confirmed it.

I love the interior as well. Much, much better than the Camaro & Challenger's!

I've always been a fan of black but I have to say, white on this new body style looks surprisingly good to me.
